History: Scientist... Inventor... Creator... words that can describe lots of people, but in this case, describe Amethyst Nighthut. He spent most of his time creating weapons, and fixing various other systems and the occasional robot when others came to him for it. Amethyst would even go to science conventions to make money off of fixing things for others.

Every now and then he would be asked to help take care of other things, usually involving combat. While not exactly one of the most combat capable of people, Amethyst had the knowledge and weapons to usually deal with what he could. He even went so far as to bring his assistants.

It was one day when Amethyst was asked to help fix some robot armor. He accepted instantly, as it was a rare thing for him to work with. What Amethyst did not expect, though, was to end up becoming part of the Drastic Measures.

Not that he really hates it.

-Amethyst's assistants are a so far unknown number of demonic penguins known as Prinnies. According to him, they don't mind being treated like slaves, and even expect it. Something about being paid for such. The Prinnies are also ready to be used in combat, with explosive results.

-Amethyst does have some contacts in the netherworld, which is obviously where he got the Prinnies from. He doesn't, though, say who these contacts are, nor does he go into any details about it.

-Amethyst doesn't really create anything too strange, or weird. Almost everything he does make tends to have some normal use, or is a weapon. Thus why he is not a mad scientist.

-Amethyst does dream of one day creating a space cruiser and using it to blow things up. In Space!

-Amethyst has created a few unstoppable weapons of mass destruction. He usually sells them to mad scientists. Save for Wily. He doesn't sell to Crazy Old Men.
